4. Instead, you should simply take care with your choice of words and the way you write.

• Avoid very long sentences.
• Write in a simple and clear way.
• Check that your sentences make sense.
• Punctuate your writing clearly and simply.
• Learn how to use the apostrophe.
• Take care with the semicolon and the colon.
• Check and re-write your work.
• Cut out anything vague or complex.
• Use a spelling-checker and a grammar-checker.
